John R. Burroughs is a Board Member of Majestic Realty, where he provides strategic guidance and leadership oversight for Majestic and its subsidiaries. He previously served with Majestic’s affiliate, Commerce Construction, from 1995 until his retirement in 2026, culminating his tenure as President.
During his tenure, John directed and coordinated the design and construction teams responsible for delivering all of Majestic Realty’s development projects, as well as projects for third-party clients. His experience spans a wide range of industrial, retail, office, and tenant improvement developments, and his leadership helped shape the company’s reputation for quality, efficiency, and innovation.
John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, and a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
