Fort Worth, Texas (April 28, 2025) – Stockyards Heritage Development Co. is pleased to welcome Rick H. Kline III, president of Majestic Stockyards Investors, LLC, as the company’s lead representative overseeing the long-term strategy and operations of the historic Fort Worth Stockyards, in partnership with Majestic Realty Co. and The Hickman Companies.
A seasoned finance and operations executive with extensive experience in real estate, hospitality, and retail investments, Kline assumes responsibility for all development partner planning and implementation. He will oversee daily operations and business activities including employee and vendor relations and management, finance and budgeting, staffing, as well as representation to internal and external partners. Kline assumes responsibilities previously held by Craig Cavileer, former executive vice president at Majestic Realty Co. and managing representative for Majestic with Stockyards Heritage Development Co., along with additional duties.

Kline most recently served as an operating advisor for Cerberus Capital Management. Prior to Cerberus, Kline served as chief financial officer for J.G. Boswell Company where he evaluated and managed real estate investments in addition to overseeing the financial aspects of operations.
As president and chief operating officer of Castle & Cooke, Inc., he led the operations of a diversified real estate portfolio and was responsible for day-to-day operations, strategic planning, financial oversight, and major capital investment decisions across multiple states. His role included streamlining operations, improving asset performance, and overseeing major construction projects. He also led negotiations on acquisitions, divestitures, and financing, managing over $2 billion in credit facilities and ensuring the company’s assets were positioned for long-term success.
Earlier in his career, Kline was a Partner at Ernst & Young LLP, specializing in real estate, hospitality, and construction. He provided financial and operational advisory services to major real estate investment trusts (REITs), property developers, and private equity firms, guiding clients on entity structuring, financial reporting, acquisitions, and SEC compliance. His work ensured that companies optimized both their financial strategies and operational efficiencies to drive profitability and long-term growth.
