Beginning in 1948 with our founder, Edward P. Roski, Majestic Realty Co. has taken a proactive role in each and every community in which we operate. As an industry leader, we embrace the concept of “active community stakeholder.” At Majestic Realty, that means taking an active role in our trade and business associations, local and national governance and our philanthropy.
Embodying the vision, leadership and passion of the Roski family, we have carried forward a tradition of leadership, passion, and collaboration as we focus our efforts.
Viewing our involvement as much more than just writing checks, we are truly “in the game,” seeking out strategic partners and organizations in each community and working to provide both financial contributions and active participation by members of our Majestic team to enhance the quality of life in each of our communities.
Majestic Realty Foundation:
After decades of personal engagement in volunteerism and contributions from each and every member of the Majestic team, we formalized our company’s long-standing tradition of corporate giving in 2002 with the launch of the Majestic Realty Foundation.
Now the cornerstone of our community investment program, we have placed grants totaling more than $10 million in hundreds of programs, organizations and communities throughout the country. From our flagship program, the Los Angeles Youth Leadership Council – which brings together students from inner-city youth centers for leadership training activities – and the numerous other community programs, to national organizations like Boys & Girls Clubs, Ronald McDonald House and Children’s Hospitals that encompass a much larger geographic area, we continue to expand our footprint and our results.
Our “Get on Board” program for employees has encouraged team members to take active roles on more than 60 not-for-profit boards and organizations. In addition, our team members donate thousands of hours to hundreds of charitable organizations and tap into the resources of our clients, vendors, brokers and others to help meet the many needs in any given community.
Sustainable Development, & Environmental Stewardship
Our “get in the game” approach carries over into our focus on sustainable development and environmental stewardship. As members of the U.S. Green Building Council and recipients of the U.S. EPA’s Environmental Justice Achievement Award, Majestic Realty Co. has built a strong foundation and evolving expertise in green building and environmentally responsible design and service delivery.
We are committed to a fully-integrated approach with not only the capability to build green, but implementation of a corporate philosophy which encourages sustainable practices.
From our award-winning and nationally-recognized engagement for efficient infrastructure and transportation routes, to storm water reclamation, lighting and landscaping techniques, we continually develop cutting-edge property management and maintenance techniques as we embrace a sustainable business model.
Majestic Realty Co. employs several LEED-Accredited Developers (LAD), architects and property management staff – a testament to our level of expertise and commitment to these important elements in today’s marketplace.
