DENVER, (July 31, 2003)-The Majestic Realty Foundation today announced a $20,000 matching fund donation to expand the Adam James Hertel Research Endowment at the Children’s Hospital Research Institute.

The $100,000 Hertel Research Endowment was originally established in 2001 by Randall and Gwenn Hertel in memory of their son, Adam.

Randall C. Hertel is Vice President of Majestic Realty Co., where he directs the firm’s Aurora, Colorado offices at their 1,000 acre Majestic Commercenter business park, and oversees real estate development projects for the company throughout the Southwestern United States.

A long time supporter of children’s charities in Colorado and beyond, Hertel and his wife of 22 years, became active in supporting children’s cancer research after losing their nine year old son, Adam, to cancer in 1993.

The donation is the largest employee matching fund grant made by Majestic Chairman Edward P. Roski, Jr. and President David A. Wheeler, who both personally match employee grants to qualified charities under the new Majestic Realty Foundation program.
