Atlanta, GA (Dec. 2, 2004) - Majestic Realty Co., already a dominant force in the Southern California commercial and industrial real estate market, was today named Atlanta’s Industrial Development Firm of the Year by the Georgia chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), the leading trade association for developers, owners, investors and asset managers in industrial, office and related commercial real estate.

Majestic Realty Chairman and CEO Edward P. Roski Jr. called the award a major milestone, “one that signifies Majestic’s strength in Atlanta and the southeast.” NAIOP-Georgia presents awards annually to recognize outstanding achievement and community service.

At the awards breakfast, which took place at the Ritz-Carlton in Atlanta, Majestic Realty Vice President Stan Conway, who heads the firm’s southeast operations, cited the developer’s vitality beyond California, as well as the firm’s commitment to philanthropic work in the Atlanta region.

“Majestic Realty is no longer just a firm from Southern California with a few satellite offices in key markets,” Conway said. “This honor today confirms our national reach and our ability to gain a significant share of the market in the strategic locations where we do business. Earlier this year, the Atlanta Business Chronicle named Majestic Realty as the top industrial developer in Atlanta, based on total square footage under development. Since 2003, Majestic has developed more than 1.8 million square feet of industrial property in greater Atlanta, bringing its local portfolio to more than 7 million square feet.
