Edward P. Roski, Jr.
Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer

Edward P. Roski, Jr. is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of one of the oldest and largest privately held real estate companies in the United States. He also is co-owner of the Los Angeles Kings and Lakers. Combining his love of sports with his passion for business, he is recognized for playing a critical role in developing the STAPLES Center, a landmark in downtown Los Angeles.

A generous philanthropist, Mr. Roski personally commits his time and resources to countless civic organizations throughout Los Angeles. In addition, in 2002, he initiated the Majestic Realty Foundation whose charitable giving and community outreach focuses on youth, family, education, health, and violence prevention. The foundation makes grants of approximately $2 million annually.

Mr. Roski takes an active role in the city’s cultural and educational development, serving as Vice Chairman and Chairman-Designate of the Board of Trustees at the University of Southern California as well as on the boards of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), the Bowers Museum, The California Science Center, the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, and the Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission. Additionally, he serves on the Board of Regents at Loyola High School and has joined the board of the National Geographic Society, serving on the Executive Committee. In 2007, he co-founded the Land of the Free Foundation to help veteran families and now serves as its President.

For his efforts on behalf of the community, Mr. Roski has received numerous awards and
civic honors.

Outside his civic and professional endeavors, Mr. Roski’s great love is adventure travel. A member of the famed Explorers Club, he has climbed to Base Camp at Mt. Everest, K2, and Mt. Kilimanjaro, ridden his bike across Mongolia, Russia, and Burma, made several deep-water dives throughout New Guinea, and descended in a Russian submersible to the wreck of the Titanic, 2.5 miles beneath the ocean’s surface.

Born in Oklahoma and raised in Southern California, Mr. Roski graduated from the University of Southern California in 1962 with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and real estate. He served as an officer in the United States Marines from 1962 to 1966 where he was decorated for bravery with two Purple Hearts. He now resides in Los Angeles with his wife Gayle Garner Roski, with whom he has three children and five grandchildren.


David A. Wheeler
President

As President of one of the oldest and largest privately held real estate companies in the United States, David A. Wheeler is instrumental in the development of master-planned business parks and retail centers throughout Southern California and in other markets across the United States.

Mr. Wheeler joined Majestic Realty Co. in 1977 and was named President in 2002. Prior to 2002, he was a senior development partner responsible for the ownership, administration and representation of approximately 23 separate projects within Majestic’s portfolio.

Under Mr. Wheeler’s leadership, Majestic Realty Co. developed over 600 acres in Chino, CA into the Majestic Spectrum Business Park and Spectrum South, along with four other separate projects in Chino. He directed efforts to expand Majestic’s presence in the Colorado and Texas markets and has contributed to the growth of the company’s portfolio from 2 million square feet in 1977 to approximately 70 million.

A member of Majestic Realty Co.’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee, Mr. Wheeler also is a founding member of the board of the Majestic Realty Foundation. Additionally, for some 20 years his Wheeler Family Trust has pursued a mission statement to support and foster family, youth, community reinvestment, and Christian philanthropy. The Trust is an ardent and long-term supporter of the Hillview Acres Children’s Home, a residential treatment center for young victims of severe abuse and neglect.

Mr. Wheeler graduated in 1976 from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science Degree in business and real estate. He currently serves on the Board of Counselors for Chapman University and has sat on numerous advisory boards for Christian organizations.

A fitness and automobile enthusiast, Mr. Wheeler comes from a 3rd-generation Southern California real estate family. A resident of Newport Beach, CA for 27 years, he and his wife, Mae, have two grown sons, Justin and Chase.


Jay H. Bradford
Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Jay H. Bradford, CPA, joined Majestic Realty Co. in 1988, and currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee. Prior to joining Majestic, Mr. Bradford had more than 18 years of public accounting experience. As a partner with Ernst & Young, he was in charge of the Real Estate and Construction Industry practice in the firm’s Long Beach, CA, office. Mr. Bradford received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Brigham Young University and currently serves on the National Advisory Council for the Marriott School of Management.

Jakob Ackermann
Chairman of the Board, Commerce Construction Co., L.P.
Mr. Ackermann currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Commerce Construction Co., L.P., as well as a board member for Majestic Realty Co. Mr. Ackermann joined Commerce Construction in 1969, and is responsible for overseeing all functions of the full-service, multi-disciplined construction company. Commerce Construction has developed approximately 70 million square feet of industrial, office, retail and entertainment facilities. He is a graduate of Los Angeles Trade-Technical College.

Valerie K. Achtemeier
Vice President and Director of Capital Markets
Ms. Achtemeier joined Majestic Realty Co. in 1996 and currently serves as Vice President and Director of Capital Markets and a member of the Board of Directors. She is responsible for all of Majestic’s debt and equity procurement for all new developments, refinancing, acquisitions, and ongoing portfolio capital needs. Prior to joining Majestic, Ms. Achtemeier was a senior regional asset manager with the Principal Financial Group for 10 years. She graduated in 1985 with a B.B.A. in Finance from Iowa State University. She serves as a board member of the following organizations: National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), Southern California Chapter; the Los Angeles Real Estate & Construction Industries Council for the City of Hope, and the Good Shepherd Homeless Shelter for Women and Children. She is also active on the UCLA Real Estate Finance & Investment Conference Planning Committee.

John R. Burroughs
President, Commerce Construction Co., L.P.
Vice President, Majestic Realty Co.
Mr. Burroughs is responsible for all operations for Commerce Construction Co., L.P., and focuses on construction activities managed out of its Los Angeles-area office. His many projects have included industrial, retail, commercial, and tenant improvements, including the 3.3 million-square-foot California Commerce Center IV industrial development in Ontario, CA; the 2.5-million-square-foot Majestic Spectrum South industrial development in Chino, CA, and the 500,000-square-foot Citrus Plaza retail development in Redlands, CA. Mr. Burroughs holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University and a Masters in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.

R. Stan Conway
Vice President and Director of Development
Mr. Conway currently serves as the Eastern Partner for Majestic Realty Co. and is responsible for initiating and leading Majestic’s activities in the eastern U.S. Since joining Majestic in 1998, he has been busy developing in excess of 11 million square feet in Atlanta and Dallas. Recent projects include Majestic Airport Center, Golden Park, and Cherokee Village in Atlanta, and Park West in Dallas. Prior to joining Majestic, Mr. Conway was Vice President at Prologis Trust where he had overall responsibilities for the Atlanta market.

Randall C. Hertel
Vice President and Director of Development
Randall C. Hertel joined Majestic Realty Co. in 1988 and currently serves as Vice President and as a member of the Board of Directors. Overseeing Majestic’s Denver/Aurora-area offices, Hertel played a lead role in developing the 1,000-acre Majestic Commercenter in Aurora, CO, as well as premier industrial parks in California and Utah. Named in the Denver Business Journal’s list of “Who’s Who in Industrial Real Estate” since 1997, Hertel sits on the board of the Aurora Economic Development Council and The Children’s Hospital in Aurora, where he chairs the hospital’s Research Institute. He attended Rice University on an athletic scholarship, receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in business in 1981.

Gail Kiralla
Vice President - Corporate Operations
Gail Kiralla joined Majestic Realty Co. in 1977 and currently serves as Vice President of Corporate Operations and as a member of the Board of Directors. Ms. Kiralla is responsible for the overall operations, human resources and marketing for the company. A recognized leader in the community, Kiralla serves on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the Mt. San Antonio College Foundation, and on the Executive Committee and Board of Trustees for the Citrus Valley Health Foundation. She also is a founding member of the Board of Directors of the Majestic Realty Foundation.

Kevin D. McCarthy
Vice President, Director of Development
Kevin D. McCarthy joined Majestic Realty Co. in 1992 and currently serves as Vice President and Director of Development and as a member of the Board of Directors. He is a senior development partner responsible for the development, leasing and asset management of projects in Southern California and Texas. Under Mr. McCarthy’s leadership, the company has seen tremendous growth in industrial development activities in Southern California and beyond. Prior to joining Majestic, Mr. McCarthy was an Industrial Property Specialist with Grubb & Ellis Company, where he was recognized as one of the top salesmen in the Southern California marketplace. Mr. McCarthy attended the University of Southern California and studied business and administration with an emphasis in real estate finance.

Patricia Reon Roski
Vice President, Managing Director
Ms. Roski joined Majestic Realty Co. in March of 2007 as its Senior Counsel and in September 2007 became Managing Director. She specializes in transactional real estate law, with an emphasis on real estate leasing and acquisitions. Prior to coming in-house, she served as outside counsel to Majestic for more than 15 years. A member of Majestic’s Board of Directors since 1997, she is the granddaughter of the company’s late founder, Edward P. Roski Sr., and the daughter of its current Chairman and CEO, Edward P. Roski Jr. A recognized expert in real estate law, she teaches continuing legal education classes to other attorneys. A graduate of USC and Loyola Law School, she completed extensive studies abroad, including graduate school in China. She is active in several Los Angeles-area nonprofits, including Para Los Niños and the Westside Regional Center. She also is a member of the Leadership Council on the Board of Directors of the Lusk Center for Real Estate at USC.

Kent R. Valley
Senior Vice President
Mr. Valley is Senior Vice President of Majestic Realty Co. and a member of the Board of Directors. A member of the Majestic team for more than 40 years, Mr. Valley is responsible for the ownership representation and asset management of approximately 20 separate projects within the Majestic portfolio. His ownership responsibilities include development, leasing and marketing, overall project supervision and management of these projects. Mr. Valley serves on the Presidential Advisory Cabinet for California State Polytechnic University - Pomona and is the Secretary and a Founding Member of the Land of the Free Foundation. A graduate of the University of Idaho with a Bachelor of Science degree in business, Mr. Valley also served in the United States Marine Corps prior to joining Majestic Realty in 1967.
