SUSAN AQUECHE & SHERYL HAW -Susan and Sheryl, of Majestic’s Industry, CA headquarters, put in a hard day recently with students from the Foundation-sponsored Los Angeles Youth Leadership Council (LAYLC), helping them clean up and beautify a local park during the annual L.A. Works volunteer day. Susan, who brought along her nephews, and Sheryl, who brought friends to lend a hand, helped 38 teens from LAYLC remove litter, clear hiking trails, rid the park of dry brush and repaint fences and benches. “It was great for us to work side-by-side with the kids,” Susan said. “It was hard work, but hopefully it will make this park a better place for everyone to enjoy this summer,” Sheryl added. Held annually, L.A. Works places thousands of volunteers citywide for a wide variety of service projects.
